Rinse First
Use a gentle stream of lukewarm water to move dust and grit away from both sides of the lens before any cloth touches the surface.
Shadevera Care Guide
A considered guide to cleaning, storing and handling eyewear with the same quiet precision that defines a well-made frame.
The four-step method
Follow this sequence whenever lenses show fingerprints, dust or light smudging. The goal is to lift debris before it is dragged across the surface.
Use a gentle stream of lukewarm water to move dust and grit away from both sides of the lens before any cloth touches the surface.
Apply a small amount of lens-safe cleaner or mild soap to the lens and nose pad area. Avoid harsh household chemicals.
Dry with a clean microfiber cloth using light circular movement. Do not use paper towels, clothing or rough fabric.
Place eyewear in a protective case with lenses facing upward. Keep frames away from direct heat, car dashboards and tight pockets.
Daily handling
Frames stay balanced when they are handled with both hands, cleaned at the bridge and nose pads, and stored without pressure on the temples. Treat eyewear like a precise object, not a loose accessory.
Care materials
Optical surfaces are designed for clarity, not abrasion. Choose lens-safe cleaner, clean microfiber and a structured case. When in doubt, keep the routine minimal and gentle.
Putting a smudged lens into a case can transfer oils to the cloth lining and make the next cleaning less effective.
Wash microfiber cloths regularly and keep them away from keys, coins, cosmetics and abrasive dust.
If a temple feels loose or uneven, avoid forcing it. A small adjustment can protect fit, alignment and comfort.
Use a rigid or semi-rigid case in bags and luggage so frames are not compressed during movement.
